Neptune Series™ Hollow Fiber Filter Sneak Peek

Here’s a sneak peak of the backbone of our upcoming Neptune Series™…the water filter.

It’s a sweet little filter with a variety of applications - we’ll explain some of them here. In the photos, you see me demonstrating some typical uses, including refilling my hydration bladder without removing it from my pack!

First, the specs:

  • 5000L (1320 Gal.) capacity

The filter will be available on its own, or included in one of our 4 Neptune Series™ reservoir capacity options:

Solo (1.0L capacity, designed for individuals)
• 2.0L
• 4.0L
• Pro (the entire product line at a discount)

The Neptune Solo includes two of our Tellus™ bottles. The Tellus™ is a 1 Liter lightweight/packable plastic collapsable bottle that rolls up tight, includes an elastic band to keep it rolled, and 28mm threading.

The bottle attaches directly into either end of the filter and can be used as a clean or dirty reservoir. We include two of them in the Neptune Solo package, plus the filter, making it the lightest, most packable option.

The filter also accepts other common 28mm soda/water bottles, as well as collapsable bottles from other brands.

The 2.0L, 4.0L, and Pro versions of the Neptune Series™ come with larger reservoirs for groups/basecamps. The 4.0L option has a max capacity of 8 liters - 4 filtered, and 4 unfiltered.

Other ways you can use your filter:
• suck water directly from the source
• attach a water bottle and squeeze to filter
• inline, attached to hydration bladder tubing

That covers some basics, we’ll be back soon with more sneak peaks and explainers of our upcoming product line, the Neptune Series™ !
